Virtual Events Project Manager in West Midlands

A multi-award-winning Midlands-based agency is looking for an experienced Virtual Events Project Manager to join their talented Digital Team. In your role as Virtual Project Manager, you’ll be working closely with the Live Events team to develop innovative digital solutions for their virtual events projects. You’ll need to be an expert on virtual events and not be afraid to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in at every stage of the process, doing everything in your power to ensure projects are delivered to the highest possible standard.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Generating new business opportunities and assisting in the creation of proposals for new projects
• Building strong relationships with clients, fully understanding their KPIs, objectives and other requirements and ensuring the Production team meet them effectively
• Scheduling and attending client meetings e.g. briefings, pitches, updates, debriefs and more
• Costing for new projects, tracking production time and ensuring all projects are delivered to budget

In order to be considered for this position, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate:

• A proven track record of success project managing large scale virtual events
• Confidence interpreting client briefs and providing innovative solutions
• Experience working with a full production team
• Excellent client communication skills
• The ability to think creatively, even when working under pressure
• Basic understanding of digital software such as Git and Jira is desirable but not essential
