We are working exclusively with a values-driven agency that partners with mission-critical, purpose-led organisations operating in complex, emotionally sensitive environments. As client challenges grow more interconnected and high-stakes, the agency is intentionally reshaping how strategy is owned, delivered, and experienced.
As part of this evolution, a new Strategic Producer role has been created.
The Strategic Producer holds end-to-end ownership of strategic direction for a portfolio of client relationships. They define the shape of the work, the logic behind it, and how it comes to life over time - ensuring clarity survives complexity and intent survives delivery.
You will operate with real autonomy, using senior leadership as escalation rather than default. This is a role built on trust, judgement, and responsibility.
Over time, this role has a clear pathway to develop into a Strategy Partner position.
The Strategic Producer exists to hold the strategic thread when things get messy - across audiences, channels, specialists, and internal politics - and to ensure work is coherent, humane, and effective.
Responsibilities will include:
Set and protect strategic direction for a defined portfolio of clients
Act as the senior strategic voice in client conversations
Design joined-up programmes spanning brand, engagement, experience, and income
Orchestrate specialist expertise with clarity and intent
Intervene when work drifts, fragments, or loses its purpose
Bring confidence and calm to high-pressure decisions
Help clients align internally around shared language and direction
To be ready to step into this awesome position, you may be a senior strategist or planner, or you may be looking to make the move over from client services.
You'll value: clarity over cleverness, delivery as much as thinking, judgement over process, and calm over performance. You'll care deeply about whether strategy actually works, and thrive in a role with real ownership rather than advisory influence.
For this position, we aren't interested in titles, but rather in capability and mindset. That said, you will likely bring:
Significant experience leading strategy on client accounts
A strong track record designing complex, multi-audience programmes
Experience working through specialist partners rather than doing everything yourself
Confidence operating autonomously while contributing at senior level
Experience in charities, purpose-led organisations, fundraising, CRM, or regulated environments is beneficial, but not essential.
