PR Account Executive in Cheltenham

A leading Cheltenham-based agency is looking for PR Account Executive to join their team! If you’re looking to work for a business which puts their people first, this could be your perfect role. In your role as PR Account Executive, you’ll be working collaboratively with the team to plan and deliver innovative campaigns for a portfolio of B2B and B2C clients. To be successful, you’ll need a passion for writing, flair for building relationships and eagerness to learn new things.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Planning and writing content such as press releases, blogs, thought leadership pieces and social copy
• Pro-actively pitching to regional, national, trade and broadcast media, to secure top coverage for clients
• Creating social media content calendars and managing social campaigns, from ideation through to content creation, scheduling and reporting
• Liaising regularly with clients to discuss new ideas and report back on campaign success

In order to be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

• At least one year of experience in PR, ideally gained agency-side
• Experience writing press releases and successfully securing coverage
• Experience in social media management
• A passion for writing and great attention to detail
• A positive ‘get stuck in’ attitude

In your role at PR Account Executive, you’ll receive a salary of around £24k, as well as the following benefits:
