Middleweight Designer (contract) in Buckinghamshire

We’re looking for a talented Middleweight Designer (Contract) who thrives on bringing ideas to life through exceptional design. You’ll work closely with Creative Directors and senior team members on a mix of projects, from websites and brand identities to campaigns and digital experiences.

You’ll be confident taking the lead on design delivery, balancing creativity with attention to detail, and ensuring every piece of work meets the highest standards. You’ll also play an active role in developing concepts, sharing inspiration, and collaborating with wider teams to produce work that’s as strategic as it is beautiful.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality design work across digital and print channels, adapting seamlessly to different brands and sectors
• Lead website design projects, contributing to UX and UI stages. From wireframes and site structure, to visual execution and rollout
• Collaborate with creative, strategy, and client service teams to push the agency’s creative output
• Develop campaign concepts and deliver assets across multiple marketing channels
• Support a variety of creative outputs including digital, print, motion, and brand collateral

To be considered for this Middleweight Designer (contract) role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• A strong creative thinker with a passion for great design and attention to craft
• Confident presenting ideas and articulating design decisions
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, and layout, demonstrated in your portfolio
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a calm, solutions-focused approach
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); knowledge of After Effects or similar motion tools a bonus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

This is a contract position, offering a salary of £26k - £32k, based on experience. The role is hybrid and you'll be working within a brilliant and highly creative team!
