Description

You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, as well as performance reporting, under the guidance of the CRO and in close collaboration with the US COO. This is a hands-on leadership role, managing a junior digital marketer and coordinating external agencies.

Key objectives include driving teacher acquisition, generating qualified B2B leads, and delivering measurable ROI on marketing spend.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global marketing strategy across both products
  • Plan and run B2C campaigns targeting teachers
  • Plan and run B2B campaigns targeting schools, institutions, and commercial organisations
  • Manage marketing budget, tracking cost per acquisition, and conversion metrics
  • Lead lifecycle and email marketing using tools such as Mailchimp / Mandrill
  • Maintain and optimise CRM processes (Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar) to segment and personalise communications
  • Oversee three WordPress websites, ensuring content is current and optimised for conversion
  • Analyse and report using Google Analytics, FullStory, Metricool, and other platforms
  • Plan PR activities and manage relationships with education and technology media
  • Manage events and conference presence, including key UK and US industry events
  • Line manage a junior digital marketer and coordinate external contractors (paid media, SEO, design)

Experience

  • Ideally marketing experience in technology or SaaS
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance marketing productivity and effectiveness
  • Experience across B2B marketing, and ideally B2C too
  • Strong hands-on digital marketing skills (paid media, email, content, automation)
  • Experience with CRM and marketing data to drive campaigns and performance
  • Comfortable managing budgets and reporting ROI
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach
  • Able to work independently and prioritise across multiple products and markets

Experience of working with US markets and within a high-growth or scaling company is preferred.

Remuneration

  • £50000-£60000 salary (dependent on experience)
  • Hybrid working – Tuesday and Wednesday in the office based in Warwickshire
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme
  • BUPA health cover
