Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and pro-active Marketing Communications Executive to coordinate and deliver an integrated communications and marketing programme across the organisation.

Reporting to senior leadership within a small, collaborative team, you will design, develop and execute targeted B2B campaigns that inform, educate and engage members and stakeholders. A key focus will be driving awareness of the organisation’s membership offering and increasing attendance at its trade-focused events and activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering external communications and campaign messaging
  • Producing and growing engagement with a twice-monthly member newsletter
  • Managing brand consistency, templates and marketing collateral
  • Overseeing and updating corporate websites, including SEO strategy and analytics tracking
  • Acting as the primary contact for external media enquiries and drafting press releases
  • Managing social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Instagram) and delivering paid/organic campaigns
  • Creating marketing assets for events, exhibitors and partners
  • Supporting on-site event activity, including live content capture and coordination with third-party suppliers
  • Tracking performance metrics and reporting on campaign effectiveness

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, taking ownership and contributing strategically within a small but ambitious team.

Experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a B2B marketing and communications role
  • Experience within a membership organisation or trade association is highly desirable
  • Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Experience managing websites, SEO and analytics (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Confident working independently with strong organisational and project management skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to track and report campaign performance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems and website content management systems
  • A genuine interest in advanced manufacturing or technical industries would be advantageous

The role will suit someone based in or near Warwickshire, comfortable with hybrid working (3 days in the office) and occasional early starts/late finishes to support events.

Remuneration

  • £32,000–£36,000 depending on experience
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
  • Discretionary bonus
  • Hybrid working (Monday and Friday from home; Tuesday–Thursday office-based, subject to event schedules)
