About the Company

We're working with a highly regarded independent agency, to find an exceptional Freelance Project Director for a major brand transformation and launch programme.

This is an opportunity to lead one of the most significant B2B brand relaunches happening in the UK this year. Following a complete strategic repositioning and the development of a new market proposition, our client is preparing to launch a major integrated campaign that will redefine how their client is perceived in the market.

Description

Working as an extension of the agency team, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale, integrated campaign spanning creative, production, media and talent partnerships.

This is a complex, fast-moving programme with a fixed launch deadline and significant commercial visibility. You'll be working directly with senior client stakeholders, agency partners and production teams to ensure every element lands successfully.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading the delivery of a major integrated brand campaign from development through to launch
  • Managing multiple workstreams across creative, production, media and talent partnerships
  • Acting as the central point of coordination between consultancy teams, client stakeholders and external partners
  • Owning project governance, timelines, budgets and risk management
  • Building trusted relationships with senior client leadership, including C-suite stakeholders
  • Overseeing production and post-production activity against tight launch deadlines
  • Managing external agency, media and production partners to ensure seamless execution
  • Proactively identifying challenges and driving solutions rather than escalating problems

Experience

We're looking for a seasoned Project Director who has delivered large-scale integrated campaigns with significant budgets and stakeholder complexity.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience leading high-value, multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of production, media planning and campaign delivery processes
  • Experience working on talent-led, broadcast, TV or high-profile integrated campaigns
  • Excellent programme management and budget control skills
  • Confidence operating at executive stakeholder level
  • A commercially minded approach with the ability to balance strategic objectives and delivery requirements
  • Agency, consultancy or brand-side experience within complex marketing environments
  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven situations

Remuneration

  • Immediate start
  • Initial 3–6 month contract, with potential to extend
  • Full-time commitment required through campaign launch
  • Hybrid working (minimum 3 days in the office)
  • Competitive package equivalent to c. £50,000–£65,000 pro rata
